Renewable Energy at the Adler
We generate energy at our facility using an exciting mix of sources
- The “Brugga” stream flowing by powers our hydroelectric plant.
- There is a 29-kWp solar power system on the apartment building.
- We heat our home with a pellet heating system and use only locally produced pellets.
- The outdoor pool is primarily heated by a heat pump, which in turn draws power from our solar panel system (when it’s sunny) or from hydropower (when it’s cloudy).
- If we need to draw additional electricity from the grid, 100% of it will be green energy.
Climate-Ready
To further professionalize our commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, we will also participate in the Klimafit program in 2026.
Through the audits required for this, we are constantly learning and improving. The certification is a testament to our company’s strict environmental management practices.
Nature Park Hotel / Nature Park Innkeepers
A clear commitment to the region and the Southern Black Forest Nature Park! We are a nature park hotel and are members of the Nature Park Hoteliers Association. This means:
- The main ingredients in our kitchen come directly from the nature park, which reduces transportation distances and helps protect the climate.
- By shopping with us, guests directly support local farmers and regional livestock producers.
