Our bicycle storage room is located in the basement of the apartment building and can be accessed with your room key.
An EV charging station is available in our parking area. Simply follow the instructions on the device.
Wednesday is our day off. The restaurant is closed, including for half-board guests. You may enjoy your half-board dinner at Gasthaus Schützen in Weilersbach at 6:00 PM (Weilersbachstraße 7, 79254 Oberried) or receive a credit of €35.00 per person.
Our basement rooms and apartments are located on the lower ground floor and are offered as a separate category.
Classic rooms feature a French bed measuring 140 x 200 cm, which is narrower than a standard double bed.
Gourmet Package: Welcome drink and a 3-course half-board dinner every evening.
Active Black Forest Package: Welcome drink, 3-course dinner every evening, plus a packed lunch and drink every morning.
E-Bike Package: Welcome drink, 3-course dinner every evening, packed lunch and drink every morning, plus daily use of our e-bikes.
Culinary Delight for Two: Welcome drink, 3-course dinner every evening, one 4-course dinner, and wine pairing every evening.
Romantic Package: Welcome drink, one 3-course dinner, one 4-course dinner, a bottle of wine, and romantic room decoration.
Our parking area is spacious and offers plenty of parking spaces.
Our wellness area includes an outdoor pool (4 x 10 m), Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared seats, showers, and direct access to our stream.
Open daily from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, provided at least one guest has registered in advance. (“We heat for one, but not for none” is our motto.) The outdoor pool is available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Bathrobes can be rented at reception for €7.00. Slippers can be purchased for €3.00. Large sauna towels are available free of charge in the wellness area.
Available digitally in our Gastfreund App and as brochures at reception. Hiking and cycling maps can be borrowed from reception.
All apartments are equipped with a coffee machine. Capsules are available at reception or from the minibar/refrigerators for €0.60 each.
Refrigerators with a selection of drinks are located on the first floor of the hotel and in the bicycle storage room of the apartment building. Please take what you need and record it on the list provided.
Our apartments are air-conditioned; hotel rooms are not.
If you expect to arrive late, please inform us in advance. We will provide a key code so you can access your key and information. The white key box is located next to the hotel entrance.
Thursday to Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Kitchen service until 9:00 PM. Seating times are 5:30 PM–7:45 PM and from 8:00 PM onward.

Naturpark hosts are restaurateurs in the Black Forest who are committed to regional and sustainable cuisine, using products primarily sourced from the Black Forest Nature Park.

The nearest pharmacy is located at Hauptstraße 9, Oberried, next to the monastery.
Every guest receives a KONUS card at reception. This card allows free travel on buses, regional trains, and trams during your stay. First-class travel and ICE trains are excluded. Please carry your ID, as the card is personalized. The card is valid from Pforzheim to Basel and from Karlsruhe to Waldshut.
You can park free of charge at Kirchzarten train station and take a direct train to Freiburg Central Station.
Bus to Kirchzarten: Departs from “Oberried Goldener Adler” at 11 and 44 minutes past every hour. Bus to Todtnau: Departs at 6 minutes past every hour.
All hotel rooms and apartments are non-smoking. Ashtrays may only be used on balconies or terraces. Smoking in rooms will result in a cleaning fee of €150.00.
